Our Solstice Columbian E.A. Decaf is almost certainly different from any other decaf you’ve tried. It makes a wonderfully comforting regular cup, and it also pulls beautifully as espresso.
Instead of using harsh chemicals, the beans is decaffeinated naturally right where it’s grown. The secret is fermented Colombian sugarcane. The coffee beans are gently steamed and then washed with a natural sugarcane extract, which safely draws out the caffeine.
Unlike typical decaf methods that can strip away the coffee’s natural taste, this sugarcane process protects the rich flavors—and actually adds a lovely touch of extra sweetness to your cup.
